How Can we get started?

Thank You for considering Das Studio Designs™ for your design project. To start, please send us an email or fill out our contact form. We will be in touch with you to schedule a free consultation. We love coffee dates, but that is not always possible. Thus, most of our meetings are on Skype or over FaceTime. During our consult, we will go over your project details and explain the design process.

Do you offer website hosting?

No, but we do a lot of handholding when it comes to hosting. We will help get you set up, do all the dirty work and offer guidance along the way. Hosting services are not included in the design cost. The provider our client use (and love) is called GreenGeeks and the cost is about $5/month (CAD) for an economic plan.

They work with environmental foundations to purchase wind energy credits to put back into the grid three times (3X) the amount of energy they consume.
Other hosting providers run on fossil fuels.
Their server is in Toronto which means the load times are super fast!

What is a Statement Of Work?

A statement of work is a document outlining all the project details agreed upon. It is a clear reference for both client and designer to look back to what the project tasks include. The statement of work eliminates misunderstandings.

How does payment work?

You’ve read our welcome letter and reviewed all the documents we provided. At this stage, please make your 50% downpayment on your project total. This will secure your booking and start the creative process. Our online invoicing is easy and secure and we accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cheques, and e-transfers. The rest of the invoice total is due immediately upon project completion.

What is expected of me as a client?

As one of our clients we will pamper you with our attention. During the design process, we ask the same from you. Clear and prompt communication is the key to success. Constructive and prompt critiques keep the project on schedule.
