LatoHQ Logo Design
LatoHQ is a gym available for rent exclusively to personal trainers.
For the LATOHQ logo design, I used an awesome font named “Lato”. This font is very bold yet offers some interesting curves. Besides the fact that the name of this font is Lato (which is pretty neat!), this typeface comes in many different weights from thin to bold black which allows more flexibility in using the logo’s typeface in future branding projects.
I didn’t even need to convince the client that the colors black and red were a great choice for this logo design. The red and black combination is the most powerful combo in logo design and represents strength. For the LATOHQ logo, you can visually see how the color red brings attention to the HQ and this helps divide the two words and make it’s clear what the HQ stands for.
In addition to the font and color choices, this design also includes a ‘lighting bolt’ or ‘crack’ in the letters HQ. This bolt visually communicates how serious and hardcore the gym is. It suggests that this is a gym where heavy weights are lifted that could crack concrete or that it’s a unique/hot spot where lighting strikes.
This logo design is extremely effective and versatile to look great on light or dark backgrounds. This logo looks best in its environment on concrete walls, promo materials such as bottles or gym gear. I look forward to seeing this brand grow!
